Porex, a company in the Filtration Group's Life Sciences Division, is seeking a Market Manager, Biosciences based in Fairburn, GA. This position will be responsible for all marketing aspects of the assigned markets, primarily in Core and Growth segments of the business globally. This position will also be a key interface between the marketing organization and the sales team.
Job Functions include but are not limited to:
•Set strategic direction and tactics for growing assigned market areas (or product lines). •Develop and implement the product value proposition for assigned markets/products •Develop complete business plans (including sales strategy, customer acquisition and retention plans, and overall communications strategy) for assigned markets/products •Develop and evaluate VOC for assigned markets/products. •Develop all sales support materials designed to enhance sales effectiveness •Develop programs to increase incoming sales leads globally, including development of target customer lists by product/application •Develop complete market launch plans for new products, including sales implementation plan and follow-up measurement approach •Primary contact for supporting sales organization, and major customer acquisition and retention activities in assigned markets. •Analyze trends and competitors in assigned markets to ensure proper differentiation and positioning of Porex offerings. •Develop market insights and provide ideas and input on potential new products and new markets to target within Biosciences (Life Sciences, Diagnostics, etc.). •Manage budgets to ensure that projects are completed within agreed targets.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related business discipline. MBA preferred. Undergraduate degree or post-graduate degree in Biotechnology, Material Science, or Life Sciences a definite plus
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Healthcare or Medical Device marketing or product management or similar business development role. Experience interacting with sales teams and product development teams is important.
