Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), in the greater Atlanta area, is seeking to fill three (3) part-time clinical teaching positions with the expectation of teaching campus lectures and skills laboratory.
Under the direction of the clinical education coordinator, the qualified candidate will develop and manage a lecture schedule with assigned clinical topics using primary source information; collaborate with faculty on test question review, curriculum, learning objectives and lectures; and analyze the outcomes for years one through four of medical school. May participate in clinical lectures off-campus in residency programs or with an online system as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Candidate should have a minimum of a doctorate degree in a related field (DO, MD) with five years of recent and related clinical experience. Board certification in candidate's field is desired. The ideal candidate would be a seasoned educator with experience in classroom teaching and working with osteopathic medical students in a clinical setting. Must have a valid driver's license as off-campus travel is required.
The ideal candidate should be detail focused and exhibit excellent follow-through, follow-up and thoroughness of projects and tasks. Must have the ability to work diplomatically and effectively with all students, staff, faculty and outside constituents as well as creating sound, rational decisions.
