QuadMed, an employer-sponsored healthcare model that operates and manages medical clinics at Quad/Graphics sites and other businesses, is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Technician to provide laboratory services at the QuadMed Greenheck Fan clinic located in Schofield, Wisconsin This position is part-time, 24 hours per week.
Responsibilities of this position include phlebotomy for all ages, specimen processing, data entry, specimen testing in house and also handling of specimens to be sent to a reference facility. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Technician will be expected to follow all laboratory processes and procedures, perform and record maintenance, perform proficiency testing, adhere to the laboratory’s quality control policies, maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines.
DATIA drug screen collection certification and Breath Alcohol Technician Certification will be required and provided if needed. CPR Certification is also required.
Strong computer skills are essential as well as excellent communication skills. The ability to work unsupervised will be expected.
Requirements for this position include at minimum an Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited School as well as Board Certification from ASCP (American College of Physicians).
