The Neurodiagnostic Technician performs neurodiagnostic testing across a variety of patient care settings and/or assists physicians/clinicians in the performance of these tests.
The Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for:
Patient scheduling, preparation, and intraprocedural support.
Performing and documenting appropriate testing as ordered and as qualified to perform.
Appropriate procedural documentation.
Maintenance of supplies and equipment related to diagnostic performance.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Graduate of an approved Electroneurodiagnostic program
Required: At least 1 to 2 years experience performing neurodiagnostic testing on all patient age groups in a hospital setting
Required: Registered, or registry eligible, with ASET (American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists), ABRET (American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic and Evoked Potential Technologists), or other Nationally recognized certification program for Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists â�¢ BLS required upon hire
