Northwest Pathology
Bellingham, Washington, United States

Description

Northwest Pathology is seeking a collaborative pathologist with required Dermatopathology and Anatomic Pathology board certifications, as well as preferred Clinical Pathology board certification. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work within a well-established team of experienced pathologists who have a wide variety of subspecialty boards, and interests which span virtually all aspects of surgical pathology and laboratory medicine, including two (2) other dermatopathologists.

The applicant must be comfortable working in a busy, high-volume practice handling multiple types of cases, with the flexibility to handle caseloads that may be derm-focused or encompass the full spectrum of surgical pathology.     The candidate must hold an MD degree and must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Washington and Alaska Medical License.

Northwest Pathology is based in beautiful Bellingham, WA, which sits on the water of the Salish Sea, just south from the Canadian border.  With both sea and mountain views that include the San Juan Islands and North Cascades, Bellingham offers an abundance of year-round recreation activities.  We are consistently ranked one of the best places to live in the US, with easy access to innumerable world-class locations including the San Juan Islands to the west, Vancouver to the north, Mt. Baker and the North Cascades to the east, and Seattle and the Puget Sound region to the south.

Northwest Pathology has been providing pathology services to the Northwest region since 1987 and has built a reputation as a high-quality, service-oriented practice that is well respected throughout the region. We continue to grow and evolve, currently covering 13 hospitals throughout northwest Washington, the Olympic peninsula, central Washington, and southeast Alaska.

Interested candidates should submit CV and cover letter to:  recruitment@nwpathology.com.
